Dr. Lisa Cuddy

I know, I know. I've screwed up the days of the week. And I still haven't discussed this week's episode. I'll probably get to that this weekend.

I like Cuddy, in almost the same way I liked M*A*S*H's Henry Blake. I say almost, because Henry was really on the same side as Hawkeye and Trapper. He didn't want to be in the middle of a war in Korea. The absurdities of life were apparent to him. Cuddy is actually in her natural habitat. The only one fighting an absurd war in this case is House. Cuddy is the voice of reason because House is unreasonable. Hawkeye is the voice of reason because the world is unreasonable.

Dr. Allison Cameron

Not sure if I like this girl and it's not just because she gets the opportunity to play doctor with House. Ok, maybe it is. That and she's a moralizing brat who meddles in other people's business. I like House better. He meddles in other people's business out of boredom and a perverse curiosity. Definitely a much higher calling. Cameron doesn't want to have any fun and she doesn't want anyone else to have any fun either. She reminds me of my second-grade teacher. I would give a lot of money to see House throw her over his knee.
